GP Journey ("GP Journey", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Vital Loop Holding Limited, company registration number 826058, and is made available at gpjourney.com. GP Journey provides online exam preparation tools for doctors applying to GP training schemes in Ireland, including question banks, mock exams, a knowledge base, and related study tools (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service is intended for healthcare professionals and trainees aged 18 or over. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.
You agree not to:
GP Journey sometimes links to external sites for your reference — for example, ICGP, the Medical Council, or HSE pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk, and its own terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.
GP Journey is an educational exam preparation tool. It does not constitute medical advice, and completing it does not guarantee any particular exam outcome, interview result, or training scheme placement. Official exam content, format, and eligibility criteria are set by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and other relevant bodies, so always verify current requirements directly with ICGP.
GP Journey is a study aid, not a guarantee. We're not liable for exam results, interview outcomes, or training scheme placements, and we don't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Where the law does allow us to cap our liability, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited (for example, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
If your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of someone else's rights causes us to face a claim, loss, or cost (including reasonable legal fees), you agree to cover that loss and defend us against it. This doesn't apply to claims arising from our own negligence or breach of these Terms.
We aim to keep GP Journey available and running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may need to pause access for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control, and we'll try to give notice of planned downtime where we can.
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, including content-sharing or account-sharing violations. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@gpjourney.com; no refund is given for unused access unless required by law. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when your account is closed.
You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer or assign these Terms — for example, if GP Journey is acquired, restructured, or its business is sold — and we'll notify you if that happens. Your rights under these Terms won't be reduced as a result.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest of these Terms remains in full effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier agreements or understandings on the same subject. If we don't enforce a right under these Terms on one occasion, that doesn't mean we've given it up for future occasions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
